The Level 1 Tech Support Specialist will provide help desk support for Retail ATMs to our customers, distributors, and dealers. This job will lead to a Level II Tech Support Specialist.
Determine hardware and/or software problems on our retail ATMs based on “ known” variables. Ask probing questions to reach root cause, make recommendations for actions needed, guide technicians over the phone through the troubleshooting and repair process of our retail ATMs.
Answer incoming calls from customers and troubleshoot the reported ATM issue. Agents will log every call with enough detail to fully describe the events of the call, in a way that it will tell a story to others reading their call notes.
Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology (or related discipline) plus three years of experience in electronic engineering technology related field, or 5 years total experience in a technology troubleshooting related discipline.
Good analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Good customer service skills.
Ability to work as a team
Type 25 wpm
Lift up to 50lbs.
Skills Preferred but not required:
ATM technical support experience
Help desk support experience
Experience with a database application ((i.e. MS Access, CSM, NetSuite, Spice, etc.) to log tech support calls
Must effectively communicate with numerous customers daily. Must also communicate with team members and management.
Must have experience with MS Word and Excel.
