We are looking for an experienced medical assistant to work at a busy oncology clinic here in Tucson! The position includes both clinical and administrative duties. We're looking for candidates with 1+ years of recent experience. Bilingual is a plus!
Job Description:
- Clinical duties: taking vitals, rooming patients, administering injections, phlebotomy, assisting with minor procedures, etc.
- Administrative duties: calling patients back, charting, prior authorizations, some scheduling, maintaining EMR
- Working in a fast-paced clinic rooming 30+ patients a day
- Working with a team to ensure excellent patient care
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a medical assistant
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment and work with multiple providers
- Strong work ethic and attendance
- Must be able to provide at least 2 professional references upon interviewing
- High school diploma or GED
Shift:
- Monday through Friday 8 to 5, NO WEEKENDS!
Pay Rate:
- $17 to $22/hr depending on experience
