Established healthcare institute in Desoto is currently needing an experienced, professional MRI Technologist to join us, within a FTE (Full-time) opportunity working up tp 42 hours/week, for the Night shift:
FTE / Fulltime MRI Tech:
SHIFT: Thurs, Fri, & Sat - 6: 30a - 9p (but more than likely done closer to 6p) | FT, 42 hours/week guaranteed
Payrange: $42.29 - $46.00/hr *(based on experience-- the more you have, the better!)
Siemens Symphony 1.5T and GE Artist 1.5T
There is a paramedic here 8a-5pm during contrast for helping with IV, sedation, changing pts etc. On Saturday we offer contrast until 7pm with a resident on site
QUALIFICATIONS
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES
o Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS (within 30 days of hire)
o American Reg MRI Tech (ARMRIT), ARRT-MR Magnetic Res Imaging (ARRT-MR), ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R): Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT(MR) or Radiography ARRT(R) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT).

QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to perform high quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
- Explain the procedure and put patients at ease.
- Provide services in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner in compliance with established System and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
- Perform tasks autonomously without need for routine oversight.
- Maintain a calm and helpful attitude, even under times of stress, and take appropriate and reasonable steps to resolve issues.
- Effectively administer first aid and use emergency cart.
- Demonstrates and maintains current knowledge, continued education and skills appropriate care for the following age groups: pediatric, young adult, adult and geriatric.
- EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
- EXPERIENCE - At least 2+ years of experience as an MRI Tech
