Medical Billing Specialist - ASAP 

Award-winning Dental Surgery organization currently has a full-time opening for a Medical/Dental Billing Specialist in RCM/Revenue Cycle Management and Medical Insurance to join part of our top paid team in North Dallas. Benefits start immediately - (FULL LIST OF BENEFITS & PERKS BELOW)
WORK FROM HOME: *After 90 days remote work 1x/day a week is allowed*

SALARY: $23.19/hr to $26/hr | Based on experience
     Paid weekly, great benefit plan. Long-term, permanent role! 
SHIFT: Mon to Fri, 7a - 4p | Full-time, 40 hours/week 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 1 year of experience managing billing claims in a healthcare, dental, or medical setting required
  2. Strong understanding of industry-specific policies, such as HIPAA regulations for health care
  3. Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint, MS Teams, & healthcare billing software systems 
  4. Experience with Dental or oral surgeries, NEA Fast Attach, Log MeIn, VPN
  5. In-depth knowledge of healthcare or dental best industry best practices
  6. Organization, time management and prioritization abilities
Job Summary
  • Partner with practices to work claims.
  • Review coding, demographics, and claim information prior to filing
  • Collect and review referrals and pre-authorizations
  • Collect and enter claim information
  • Prepare bills, invoices, and document amounts due for medical procedures and services
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and issues
  • Perform electronic claims filing and add narratives to claims
  • Track and work rejections
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing questions and concerns
  • Investigate the insurance claims and communicate with stakeholders
  • Research the stipulations of insurance policies
